5 Minute Friday – A look at the story of our lives

I am so excited to participate in the Gypsy Mama’s 5 minute Friday writing exercise today 🙂 If you have never visited her site, you can visit it here. Without further adieu, here it is – 5 minutes of my rambling thoughts on STORY…

As I sit here listening to music, light streaming through the office windows, I am reminded of how beautiful LIFE is. Wonder, peace, laughter, pain, risk – they are all tied together with the beautiful thread of grace. As the song I am listening to says, “You are more than my words will ever say – you are Lord; all creation will proclaim. You are here, in your presence Im made whole; you are God, of all else I’m letting go…nothing compares to your embrace. My heart will say no other name – JESUS.

No matter what our own personal life story that is being written moment by moment by the One that knows the beginning and the end may be, the central theme of every story is redemption. It is grace. It is the peace that comes from knowing that we are meant for MORE.

I love sappy love stories simply because IN THE END, joy and love reigns supreme. And isn’t that what everyone wants? Just to know that no matter what happens in the middle of the story, the end will be perfect.

As believers, we have that, and what a precious gift that story is.

In Him,

Jennah

    Jennah ~
This is lovely. Your post reminds me of a song that came up this week in comments on my blog … “Beautiful Ending” byBarlowGirl … knowing that we want our “end” to be in His arms. Sappy and our glorious promise in Him!
I’m glad I’ve met you today at Lisa-Jo’s place.
    Blessings,
    Felecia

Visiting your blog for the first time from Five Minute Friday. Your post was beautiful. I loved this, “Just to know that no matter what happens in the middle of the story, the end will be perfect.” Sometimes the middle can be hard at times. I am so glad there is victory at the end!

    Blessings~
    Shari
